Are these duck eggs?

Yesterday while at my dad's house, my brother, sister and I found two eggs on their front door stoop. Today there are three and my brother thought he saw a duck up there today.

They are about the size of a large/xl chicken egg and all white.

Any ideas? Ill get my sister to send me a picture to post too.

It is hard to say without a picture. But if there are no chickens around and you think you saw a wild duck I would say yes. Pics would be best though.

I say yes. Those look like my duck eggs. Is there wild or domestic ducks around you?

Only wild. My dad lives right in the city. I've only seen mallards around when its rainy.

Do you think mama duck will abandon them? Or is she trying to build a clutch?

She could be building a clutch. As long as no one bothers the eggs I dont think she will abandon it.
