I will keep him in a cage right next to the older ducklings for a few days just so they don’t trample him (they do bully each other a bit) and they can see each other. Then he can join the others

Thanks, just glad I have three very lively ducklings left. Will try incubating some eggs again as soon as I find the breed I want close enough for me to pick them up, don’t want to get them delivered again x

Maybe get an auto-turner? The 45 degrees angle should be better for your air cell detached eggs than turning them on the sides or almost vertically in the egg carton.
