Are these eggs safe to eat still?

I have just opened a tub of waterglassed eggs from the summer. 4 of the eggs have broken. There was white waxy substance on some of the eggs which I am assuming is egg white. The whole tub smelt a bit.

Is it safe to eat the intact eggs?

I'm making a birthday cake for my dad and really don't want to make him ill.

If they are still ok I'll put them in fresh water lime solution.
