Are these emu eggs fertile? Hatchalong

Pics
Dilemma… Willy laid two eggs this week (#19 & #20). They were supposed to be saved for someone that requested four, two this week and two next week. This morning I let them know that two eggs are ready to pick up and… nothing. It’s now 8pm and I’m tempted to put them in the incubator. Every day counts.

Should I wait and (potentially) waste an egg? Or let them know since they didn’t respond, they’re goin in!

After some back and forth with the person, I told them no. Too much hesitation and asking me to meet an hour south. They wanted to see photos of my female? They look the same to the average person 😆 what does seeing a photo of the female do for someone buying emu hatching eggs?

I have never asked someone to meet me somewhere when I wanted something that they were selling. That’s just me I guess. I know what I’m purchasing when I contact them.

Oh well, two more for the incubator. 19 and 20 are going in. That will make for 15 total in the incubator this evening. The wiggling 1/7 egg is still wiggling. The other isn’t. They were part of the group in the crummy incubator, so a bit surprised someone is still alive.

If I could get just ☝🏻 little chick, that would be great lol

Only thing different is the sounds they make and the Alfalfa spiked hair that Goose has. Yes you can feel the booming pouch Willy has, but how many people go up and feel emus’ chests?

Sounds like a scammer, I've been getting a lot of that lately unfortunately.

The wiggling 1/7 egg is supposed to be hatching the end of this week. Checking wiggles daily to make sure there aren’t any signs of it needing help. Don’t want anything to happen to it like the last one 😑

I’m going to guess that the main issues with them in the last incubator was fresh air and turning. The small incubator doesn’t allow for enough air flow. The eggs expel carbon dioxide as they incubate, in the larger incubator it’s not as concentrated. The door is opened to the cabinet throughout the day to let fresh are in as well.

I had Kenny, my son, try to show how not aggressive they are towards us. The most theyve ever done is bluff charge.
