X2. At around day 5 or so you will see development if they are fertile. Candle and Show us again around that time . Out of curiosity, what type of eggs are you hatching?

There is a way to tell on day 1, but it's impossible to do if it's not in person. If you have very light colored eggs, on day 1 you will be able to see the enlarged blastoderm floating around. Don't slosh the egg though because it can detach very easily at this point, which obviously means certain death for the chick. But if you gently turn you may be able to see it in there.
Post pics on day 4, imo it's the earliest and best day to check.
