What do yall think about these d'uccles?

Those are really good quality D'Uccles! I'm very jealous. Where are you getting them from?

The male could use some more flecking, but is otherwise very good.
The females are almost perfect. Great flecking, fantastic type and amazing spread of the tail. I would like to see longer foot feathers, but they may have just broken off.

Yes, where are you from, maybe when I breed them I should have babies by summer and maybe you can buy some

Ok I'll post on here when they start breeding and get babies and I can see if I can ship you some

They do look very good. Be sure to hatch a lot of chicks. I'd recommend at least 50 chicks. So you'll have plenty to pick from for show birds and future breeders. Cull heavily for defects. Cull doesn't necessarily mean kill by the way. Just don't use them for breeders.

If I were you, I would also focus on improving the amount of flecking in the male, the males' hackle volume and the size of the beard on males.

The females are really good, but I have a feeling the male was just tossed in to get him out. He doesn't look like the same quality of the hens at all.
