Hello all,

I am a first time chicken owner and looking for help guessing if my chicks are roos or hens.

They are a mixed flock and got them as day olds and they are just over 7wks now. My hamburg was sexed as a hen so i won't add close ups of her.

I have 2 pekin bantams.

How old are they? It can be a deal breaker in deciding gender. Your buff cochins looks female and gorgeous. I think you have a pair of Lavender Orps. I Can't see what the black & white looks like except for the coloring - can't see head etc.

Hi there,

They were 7weeks old on Sat just gone.

The 3rd one is a blue splash australorp and the other grey coloured one in the last pick is an araucana.
The black and white hamburg was sexed at a day old and i'm told she's a she but they could be wrong lol

If you need better pictures i can take some more tomorrow but i have no idea what i should be trying to get a good photo of lol is it better to take the photo side on or front on? And should i be trying to get their head or body shape or tail?
