We just finished our coop and will put our girls out for good this coming weekend. I'm concerned with the latches that came on the coop though. My DH tells me I'm being paranoid, but i told him there is no such thing as too much protection! Besides, we don't know what goes on outside when we are inside at night! And who knows what kind of predators we will be attracting now.
Here's that latches that came on the coop:
Is a raccoon smart enough to twist and slide these??
And, DH built a beautiful protected run for them. He made doors so I could clean them out and put these latches on. It was kind of hard for me to open, but could a raccoon open these?
I don't want to find out the hard way that they can open them!
