Really? I thought I read there is only one splash. Not blue splash and black splash. I could be wrong, but I thought I read that.

I was doing some online genetics reading today and according to several sites there is supposed to be both. Personally I've only ever seen black. I may be reading it incorrectly. My head DID start to spin a la the exorcist, so I'm not swearing to anything!

There is only splash. No blue splash or black splash. Splash is Andalusian blue based. Your bird can be any range of blue or black, but it is just splash.

Well, it does makes sense though, doesn't it? Yeah, I think I can tell the difference. Dark splotches (black) verses lighter (blue) splotches. Anyway, that is what I am thinking. I could be way off base here, but that's my current thought.

AH ha. That explains it then.

I was aking cause someone on craigslist is selling them as lavendar at 50.00 each!!!! They are not what I thought lavendar was but wanted to be sure I wasn't wrong.

Yeah, if they are claiming those are lavender, they are scamming big time - unless they don't have a CLUE what the heck they are selling
