Are these mites?

Hi! Are these mites? I checked twice and couldn't see anything moving. I was able to take some off and looked at it very closely with a flashlight and it just looks like dirt. I checked his neck which was clear and didn't have any. I checked his lower back and there were some tiny specks but nothing moving. He's acting normal, all eggs are clean and don't have spots, no abnormal behaviors.

if nothing is moving and you didnt see any mite eggs on the vent fluff i'd say it isnt mites

When chickens have sloppy poop, it does run down there feathers in the back. And with them roaming around the yard it will attract dirt. That's what your seeing.
