I found these pics i wanted to show some kinders how to find out if your chick is a boy, or a girl. Is Correct? Pullet - Same Length Cockerel - Half one length and then longer

you can go by tail feathers, at that stage they are just starting to get their tail feathers in males will have slower growth, females typically grow their tails faster
 
Beyond a day old I personally don't believe chicks can be sex by feather growth. I've herd every story in the book and tried all of them and none are consistently accurate in my experience. That doesn't mean that they don't work for other people.... Just my two cents.
 
Feather sexing is valid only for a small number of hybrids and a few strains of pure breeds that are specifically bred for the trait. And even then it only works on day old chicks, nothing older.
