I was told both of these are pullets I bought them at Tractor supply. They’re roughly 13 weeks old. The black one is a sapphire gem. The white bird I was told is a ISA brown but I don’t think she’s that. Does anyone know what type of bird the white one is? Also do both birds look like pullets or cockerels?

They both look like pullets.

are you sure they said isa brown? shes obviously not they shouldn't have lied to you but i think i can see some speckles?? but they both look like pullets to me
Yes the man said ISA brown, but I honestly don’t trust their labels on the buckets. I seen a duck labeled as a chicken the other day. I about fell over. But I am trying to figure out what the white chicken is, and I’m having a hard time figuring it out. I’m not familiar with a lot of chicken breeds. But yes she’s starting to show black on her feathers. It’s little speckles, she’s friendly and beautiful just wish I knew what she was.

The one in the first row- Cockerel
The one on the 2nd row- pullet

Not sure what she is- maybe a mix??

haha they really have their labels messed up i also have a pure white chick but it doesnt have speckles on its neck feathers

So you’re saying black chicken looks cockerel? Oh no. I had high hopes of it being a pullet.
Looks like it. Can you get a pic of its tail feathers? Are they pointy or rounded?
It could just end up having a huge comb and being a girl. I'm hopeful for you!

I'm sot sure about your tractor supply but ours just gets what they're shipped. Also sometimes chicks get put back in the wrong brooders especially if they are within reach of the public.

Your sapphire gem is blue not black.
Your second is a Delaware and is lovely. Both look to be pullets.
I've never owned one so I could be wrong but I believe sapphire gems are sex links meaning for sure a pullet.
