Are these roosters?

I have 2 chickens that are 3 months old now, I haven’t heard any crowing or rooster behavior but their tail feathers are giving me mixed signals.. I really hope they are hens but I’m not hopeful at those darn feathers.

I believe I'm seeing hackle feathers coming in. Like you said, the tails are seeming male too. I think the real test at this age is compare their combs to other ones of their breed.

They are both cockerels. The dark one is fabulous!

The closest one is very obviously a cockerel with the male saddle feathers and hackles. The other one not so obviously male in my opinion. However, that looks like dark red feathering in the wings, so probably is male.
