Are these roosters?

Ok so I'm pretty much positive these two are, but what about the rest?
The two are roos, right?



Now this one which I've heard doing an odd sort of crowing



And this which I think is also a roo


Now what on EARTH is the deal with this one, I bought it with my bunch of EE's but it's a rhode island red???
And I thought he was the only rooster because I was comparing his comb to the others but now I have no idea!
Is this a boy or a girl?? Also this one has always been quite a lot smaller than all the others, don't know why.

Oh my. Your right, those are all boys.

The last RIR is a boy too.

Gah! That means 5 out of 9 are boys!
Well the RIR is definitely getting rehomed as his personality isn't the best

but the others are ALL MY FAVORITES

If you bought sexed pullets, I'd be going back and asking for a refund. That is just bad luck.

They are beautiful boys! It's too bad they are all boys. You can keep them, but separated from the girls as they will be overbred. What a bummer.

My neighbor had a BR boy that she picked from the pullet bin. He had to be rehomed due his aggression. He was aggressive the day he was brought home to the girls, always jumping on them and pecking their heads. Eventually he went after the owners and drew blood a few times before they had enough. They did replace him with a nice older rooster. The replacement crows nonstop all day.. Funny, but we don't mind.

Narrowing these guys down is gonna be hard ): But once I do I'll be going and ordering some SEXED pullets from Meyer Hatchery


They were just sold as straight-run but the guy said we'd have mostly hens....I don't think he was very experienced....

Wow, ordering chicks that need to be shipped is very expensive. It's suppose to be 50/50 with straight run, but from what I see on here is some people getting mostly roosters.

I just hatched 3 chicks hoping for a female. Unfortunately I believe they are all boys. We won't keep a boy here until we fence in our 4 acre property starting next spring. I have neighbors on both sides of me that hate chickens. I can keep the girls from crossing over the line, but roosters need more space for some reason.

Good luck with your next order! My 9 hens I have now are all from hatcheries and are absolutely beautiful! Easter eggers are my favorite. I'd like to hatch true americauna's in the future for their blue eggs.

Yea I've never ordered online before! And Meyer has the whole you only need to buy 3 chicks which is perfect for my situation.

We got all these local from a reptile expo, they would have been snake food otherwise!
Another Q, does anyone know what breed this is? It was supposed to be an all white leghorn haha nope

That's a mix breed! I see some Easter egger in her. Although, I heard EE's will not lay green eggs unless they have a pea comb. I would guess buff orpington too.

The black one actually looks like a girl to me! I have a hen that looks exactly like 'him'. Are you sure it's actually crowing? The others all look very much like boys. I have 11 roosters and my boys don't fight so having several roosters is not impossible. Good luck!!!
