are these Silkies blue or black?

at first I thought they were going to be black but now that I have been reading and looking more at other posts, and now I am thinking maybe a blue? the black chicks I have seen in other posts were way blacker then the ones I have.

thanks for the reply, it is so hard to tell with them and not a huge amount of examples of silkie chicks. I have seen posts by people asking what color their chicks were and the replies they got were saying that the certain Silkies look like a dark blue. and having seen pictures of some black Silkies where their chick down is actual black not this gray color it got me curious lol

They look like some cute black Silkie chicks. There is a chance that they may be blue, but you’ll have to wait until they are fully feathered/fluffed out to know for sure

yea definitely, only time will tell, was just curious what peoples thoughts their color was
