They look like silkies. They don't have normal feathers do they?

Black skin, 5 toes, and feathered feet are a must for silkies. I'd be tempted to say a cross regardless as their combs are straight. Silkies have walnut combs. Maybe hatchery chicks or pet quality, but I'm guessing those were crossed with a cochin or something.

That said, nothing says they aren't beautiful anyway as they are. They just are not breeding material.

Thats what I thought but I wasn't sure....They were abandoned and we wanted to make sure we knew what they were to try and rehome
