Are these wattles?

My chicks are about 5 weeks old. I’m trying to figure out if my cuckoo maran is a boy. I’m not sure if it’s still to early to tell.

I think it’s a pullet, though I am not too sure. The comb would be redder if it were a cockerel. Hope that helps

Well, a bit early, wattles and comb should be pink at this point if she were a he.

Great! This my favorite chick. She’s so friendly and sweet. These are my first chicks and I wasn’t sure if already having wattles meant cockerel. None of my other chicks have them, however 4 are polish.

That looks like a pullet so far! But I am not certain that is a CM. CM's have pink or white legs. Barred plymouth rocks have yellow legs.
