hi, sorry if this is in the wrong forum but i have these really tall weeds and then some little prickly ones on the ground (a LOT) and i was wondering if chicks are okay near these? i was observing them (4 week old gals) near the weeds earlier and i didn’t notice any issues with them pecking around. the second photo is the weeds that are annoying to step around lol

Here's an excellent resource to have on hand for toxicity in plants: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/comprehensive-list-of-poisonous-plants-and-trees.627282/

Neither your telegraph weed or your burr clover are on this list, but I can tell you that chickens generally do ok around toxic plants. They will tend to taste them, but move on to other things, especially if they have a steady supply of good feed available to them. For example, I have pokeweed and Junipers EVERYWHERE on my property, never had an issue with toxicity.
