Are they blue or lavender ???

Hi,

I bought these chickens about a week ago. I've been trying to do some research on them and found out that they are wyondotes. But are they blue or lavender ????

They're splashes. What kind of combs do they have? Their legs look pretty white to be wyandottes.

Those are Splash.

It's what happens when the bird gets 2 copies of the Blue gene.

Bred together you'll get Splash chicks, and bred to Black you'll get all Blues.

Thanks for the replies. At first I thought they may have been blue orphingtons but the person I bought them from said they were wyendotes. Could they be orphingtons ??? What every they are, I bought them ($4 each) because I like the color. They'll have their own pen so I can incubate some of their eggs next spring.

I'll need a few closer shots from different angles to try to see what they are, but they look like they aren't Orps because they have yellow legs.
