Are they both already looking like Roos?

I have two Pekin bantams that are two and a half weeks old, people think they are both looking like roosters already, I can keep them but would prefer hens.. any chance these will be pullets? I know it’s too early to know for sure, the grey chick is feathering much faster than the yellow, I don’t know if that helps with gender for this breed

These tend to get big combs and wattles early, but so far I see nothing that says they're definitely males. Give them time and see what happens.

The thermometer in the back is not under the heat lamp and it is reading 39?
That is TOO hot.

Don’t worry that’s the humidity, not temp, they are in their play box which is room temp

some breeders breed for fast feathering males, some for fast feathering females, and some don't care at all. the only way to know for sure on that trait is to buy from lines with consistent feather breeding.

Hmm well I don’t know of that’s the case, there’s just a very obvious difference

Too early to tell. The combs don't look that big to me and there isn't even a hint of redness. Unless you know for a fact that the chicks have been bred to be feather sexable fast vs slow feathering doesn't mean anything. You're just gonna have to wait and see on these guys.

I think I was right…
Grey is gorgeous so I’ll be keeping him regardless, the other something weird is going on with the white chicks feathers so I’ll probably be giving him away as a pet if possible, they are now 4 weeks
