Are they ready for the outdoors ?

im not sure how old they are honestly .. i got them on sale cause they were getting "too big and ugly to sell" at tractor supply my gain .. i missed having ducks ..


their pekin if thats needed ... they totally muck everything in their home up in 2 days.. as you can tell from their water. eek (also please ignore my failed diy project on the tile ... paint does not stick and then makes it look molded.. ugh lesson learned)... they get a bath every other day while i clean their tote (half of a giant water carrier barrel)

this week says upper 70s in the day time, all be it rainy and low 50s at night..

im so ready for them to go outside.. but the area i need to put them dont have electric so i cant add a heat lamp ..

will they be ok !?

They are ready and then some. Fully feathered = ready for life outside.

i couldnt tell if they are fully feathered or not. they still look like they got a little duckling fluff here and there.

As long as they are out of cold wind and have a dry ventilated coop with deep bedding to snuggle in they will be fine. Congrats on your ducklings they are precious
