Are they smart enough to hide?

I think they think they did hide. LOL
I have a few that will fly into a fenced in portion of our yard and then spend the next 5 hours trying to figure out how to get back out.

Are you positive they were hawks? Hawks normally don't group together like that.. They could of been turkey vultures? I wouldn't worry, Guineas (Althoguh very stupid) Are really good at spotting and avoiding predators.. My guineas free range 24/7 and will roost outside most of the time. I've had only a couple disappear over the past few years i've had guineas..

These were not big enough to be turkey vultures. Pretty sure they were hawks. I only had 6 guineas and the last time they stayed out all night, I woke up to 5. I put them in their coop every evening whether they like it or not. I did the whole keet thing in the summer and was overwhelmed with all the dos and donts. Hoping these guys survive awhile.
