I know this is a weird question.
I was away from home overnight, when I came home this afternoon my hens laid 2 eggs that felt WARM to the touch. It's been really hot here(close to 100 today.
The eggs were laid in a kitty litterbox w/ hood and air vents .There's a generous amount of pine shavings in the box and they just love it. The box is free standing on top of their sleeping quarters.
Are these still edible?
