Broody, Impacted Crop, Egg-bound? Help!

She also does NOT have any weird discharge from her eyes or nose. Breathing seems fine. She perks up when I come in the garage where I'm keeping her in a crate, she's alert when she needs to be.

The sound and the beachball indicates broody to me. Their whole system slows way down and they spend most of the day in a trance flattened in the nest. They don’t need a lot of feed and digest the feed very slowly.

I would not doctor her. Just keep her in the breaker box. Being broody is not a disease, it is a natural state of affair

I know the jails work from respected posters here. I just always give them eggs or chicks.

It would be much better to keep the crate in the coop, so she can interact with the flock. That should stimulate her to eat and drink and it will also make reintegration much easier.

Thank you, @Mrs. K ! I hope that she breaks soon. She drank some water this afternoon/evening and took a couple pecks at some food, not much though. It's hard to watch. After a second full day in the box, I hope that this doesn't last much longer for her sake.
