Wow fun times. My 2 cents. All life should be respected. I am thankful for the life given so I can have life. I think the argument isnt here with the chicken raisers. I think it's with the ppl who only see the money in chickens and don't treat them well.

Starting a fight here is like singing to the choir. We don't have to agree in all points but I think we all can agree life is to be respected.

Intelligence in chickens? Like all animals they like eating othe animals poop. Sorry not so intelligent.

I agree that humans are superior to animals because God set us apart and above all creation. Now that being said, I absolutely think animals should be respected and treated well. Now THAT being said, I think eating animals is perfectly acceptable, but I think they should be raised humanely. Cows should be grass fed (yes I'm in prime corn feed beef country and yes I love the Cornhuskers, but no I do not believe in this country's excessive production of corn), chickens should be raised like you see on this site, hunting and fishing should be regulated to support populations, etc

i agree also chickens don't go to heaven I don't think although It is not specified in the bible I think they have to be good hens

Why would more intelligent or superior matter? What about mentally handicapped people? Superior how? I can't navigate in total darkness like a bat. I wouldn't know when or how to migrate. I figure if aliens exist and they're smarter, we have it coming for them to use us as a resource and call it the circle of life. Even if they have plenty of other suitable options.

My view is that humans suck. But I think that we should be equal with animals. Though if we did not have weapons and lived naturally, we would be near the bottom of the food chain, so technically animals are superior. But we have better power of reason. So lets just shut up and live in harmony! (hand and hand we can live together, people or not were all the same! fur or hair, skin or scales, lets not kill each other because that is lame!)
