Are we roos?? **NEW Pictures added post 34 and 63**

I agree with speckled, nilla looks like fine strapping lad, the EE, could still go either way, I have ameraucana hens that have one or two rooish feathers in their tails, and i have some that are around 13 weeks, and I con only tell sexes on some, and only by comparison, the boys are starting to get taller than the girls, and while there isn't much comb growth, their's are getting pinker more quickly. I'd pullet as of right now.

Indi is beautiful!I wish I could have her!

Nilla should be laying soon!I hope you get some excellent eggs from her!

When you first posted Nilla's pics, in the 4th pic down, there were already saddle feathers coming in. In the last set of pics, the 3rd one down shows those, which is the main reason I called "rooster" on Nilla. If Nilla turned out to be a hen, I'd say it would be the very first hen I've ever seen with stringy saddle feathers.

The other one is probably a girl, but those can pop in later and fool the heck out of you.

Thank you!! Indi is really pretty!! Actually if Indi turns out to be a roo my mother would be so happy! No matter what Indi is S/he is staying!

I'm really hoping Nilla does lay eggs! Nilla hasn't crowed and S/he is 17 weeks now and we have no roosters!!

Well Miss Speckled Hen I hope your right. Cause I really like this little one to be a boy, believe it or not. I had first thought boy, then girl. now you have me rethinkin what this bird is.
Cause there is not much I can do with a White Splash Orp hen.

),you could have them breed and you'd get nice EE babies!

We have a nice EE and a True Ameraucana(Blue) that Indi will live with that I think would make nice babies if Indi is a Roo.
