I would love to add some Welsummers to my flock, but I am wondering if they make a good free ranging breed (predator savvy)? Does anyone have any experience free ranging this breed?

Hi. My Welsummer is fast as lightening. When I got her as a pullet it took forever to catch her. I think they are fast and nimble and friendly. Not cuddly but very pleasant and curious. I have 7 breeds and if I had more space to get more birds I would get more Welsummer. Their eggs aren’t very big big she almost never misses a day.
They really are.Thank you! They are such pretty looking birds!
She’s still a pullet so all her feathers aren’t fully in. She’s getting the green iridescent right now. They really are. View attachment 2838770
