Are You A Brinsea Owner? - April Hatch Along - Prize: Ecoglow Brooder!

Please sign me up too! I have an Eco 20 and set 27 eggs in it tonight! 15 Ameraucana and 12 Cochin eggs. I am hoping to move a few out to a broody hen this weekend, if possible. They are due to hatch around April 29th.

I also wish I had found this post earlier as I ordered an autoturn cradle and probably would've ordered the ovascope if I had the coupon code. oh well! I had great luck with my brinsea last spring (my first hatch ever) and am feeling pretty confident going into my 2nd hatch.

Good luck everyone with your hatches!

Update on my eggs.
On Day 4 when candled, all 8 were viable. I recandled on Day 6 & 7 and was suspicious of one of the Cayuga eggs. Sure enough, this morning there was a blood ring. Now I can put in my auto turner for the remaining 7 eggs. Hand turning sucks! I'm away from home for 12 hrs during the day (commute, work, care of my 89 yr old mom).

Of course, now I have to redo my egg weight loss spreadsheets and remove the egg from the mix.

OK!! More Iddy's have broken out of their shells. So far 34 are in the brooder & 2 are still i
