I was in both when I was growing up. Liked FFA, but disliked some aspects of it that are really unimportant now, LOL. Loved 4-H, loved absolutely every thing about it. I think I liked 4-H more because there were several different 4-H clubs to chose from growing up, so all my friends were in the same club, whereas FFA I had no control over who I was grouped with. Anyway, years later, both were awesome experiences. I would highly recommend one or both to anyone that has any interest in agriculture.

I'm a very dedicated 4-H'er!

My poultry meetings are two hours away from me because our county doesnt have an interest in poultry. Since I go to a private school, my school doesnt have FFA

I ma homeschooled, so no FFA. This is my 7th yr in 4-H, and I am the club president. I am also in a shooting sports 4-H club. So the projects I take are horses, dairy goats, lots of different poultry projects, shooting sports, and I hope to take creative writing, sewing, and/or a vetrinary science project. I am also on the Junior Fairboard, Saddle Horse Commitee, teen rep. to 4-H Commitee, and am a 4-H Camp Counselor. It is safe to say I am pretty involved in our county 4-H.

Need a category for I never was, but now kids are and I volunteer.

I wasn't but my kids are in 4-H. This is 2nd year for my 12 and 14 year olds, but they enjoyed it so much last year that my 15 year old has joined this year as well. DH and I have really enjoyed helping our kids leaders as well.
