Hi I'm Rachchikma!! I've recently became a chicken mom partner for a friend who travels often. And I have had her 2 babies, rooster and hen for a little over a week now. Wifi no previous experience ever! Well the hen had a prolapsed vent and she came home to take her to be put down because she won't be home for 2 weeks and didn't think that I could figure out what to do. I actually thought that was the best idea until I did some research. And I have been taking care of her and she's getting a lot better we have rated a very tight bond this hen and I. And the others. I will be hatching my own chicks but our large co-op is not finished and our schedules rarely lineup. So hello I'm here to learn and make friends with other chicken families.

She is doing extremely well! When can I put her back with her boyfriend? It's been over a week. They are right next to each other we're he can see her but man he is lost with out her.

She needs to be completely healed before mating or any regular activities. So when her vent is no longer red or swollen she can mixed in. Do you have any witch hazel? Or Hemorrhoid cream? Both of these are excellent for prolapse, heals them quick.
