And Grouchy Gytha!

Monday mugs. After getting their outside space, the chickens haven't gotten out much lately. Here they are back in their element. Abigail, my BR.
And then, Emily, one of my two wackadoodle Easter Eggers. Anyone else have a beautiful chicken that's just crazy?
Last is my favorite, my SS Louisa looking peacefully at Jamie the Polish through the wire. Last week there was a fence fight between the PITA Welsummer and Jamie and Jamie has been hesitant to come out. We hacked at her poof feathers in front and it seems to have helped. It makes my heart happy to see her out exploring.

Some sad mugs

Louis crowed in the big run and Riddick thrashed him...I think. Someone pecked his feathers.
We are converting my mini greenhouse into a tiny run extension when we have access to bare ground. I guess Riddick doesn't want a second-in-command.

Vuitton being adorable
She and Diva do not get along. Diva is so pushy compared to any of the other hens.

Sorry this isn't a chicken post.

I'm hoping to have a little advice on a mobile phone.
I only just got back from a wonderful time with my relatives. But I'll be back in here tomorrow.

I have to find a phone that's not going to cause so many problems. And one with a customer service.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated
In a way you’re talking about two different areas: the phone itself, and the phone service.

For the phone, I’d recommend Android or Apple based on what you’re familiar with, because they tend to carry over the design of everyday functions from their tablets or desktop computers, and the lingo is similar too. Or buy one that a friend who is willing to help you has. A reconditioned older phone with a warranty included is often a good deal. Maybe the friend can recommend the service plan too. Otherwise go to a providers store, like the Verizon or T Mobile stores here in the USA.

A photo bomb hen :lau So cute! We chicken owners can identify w/her curiosity!

Our horizontal nipple waterers tend to leak more than our vertical nipple waterers when the hens drink... but it's not because the nipples are defective... it's because of the sloppy way the chicken beak pushes against the stainless nipple that a lot of water drips that the hen doesn't drink up. We prefer the vertical/chick nipple waterers cuz more water makes it down the hen's throat rather than dripping on the ground. Not sure any heated waterers come w/ vertical nipples though :idunno

Premier 1 Chick Nipple Drinker with Wall Bracket

We aren't fans of the horizontal nipples but we have them too. We notice the hens use the vertical chick nipples (above) & not the horizontal (below). We have spent so much $$$ over the years finding what products work for us & which ones don't.

That vertical nipple waterer is my favored brooder waterer, it works really well and they learn it instantly. Placed at the correct height, they reach up to it and touch the silver and a water drop rolls right out into their beak!

The semester is finally over. I finished with decent grades, and I’m glad to finally be out of those classes.
My school changes classes each semester, so you take half of your classes first semester and the other half second semester (four classes a day).
First semester I had English, Acting 1 (dad forced me to take it), Animal Science, and AP Gov and politics.
I ended English with a 91, acting with a 100, Animal Science with a 97, and AP Gov with an 81. All of my friends ended gov with 70’s, so I’m quite happy that I didn’t. My teacher was out the last two weeks because she was in the hospital, so that was helpful. She’s okay, thank goodness, but I could’ve gotten an A if she had been there to actually put in grades. I’m just glad she’s okay though.
Next semester I have Geometry (it’s honors and I’m screwed… I barely got a B in non honors algebra last year), Vet Science (when I take my end of pathway assessment at the end of the year, I can get vet tech certified), Wildlife Management, and Dual Enrollment/AP Biology 2.
I’m actually very excited for all these classes. I have friends in all of them, and in Wildlife management I’ll be able to spend time with my school chickens because the teacher is the one who helps me and my friend with the chickens, and the coop is right outside the classroom.
But for two weeks, I get a break from school and I don’t need to stress about grades.

Oh, and my friend and I put that persons barred rocks in a different coop. The girl lied to us, both of our ag teachers (the one who is helpful with the chickens and the one that we had problems with), and so the ag teacher that we had problems with told us to put the BR’s in with her chickens (the ones that killed my friends polish) and so we did… kinda. We put a tsc coop in the chicken pen and put the BR’s in there to get the chickens used to each other so that that BR’s don’t die.
The girl apparently told the problem ag teacher that she was going to make my friend and I do all of the work… why she told an ag teacher that? No clue. The girl isn’t very smart… the ag teacher failed her on the project that she had the chickens for.
Let me say, this girl asked what honey was made out of… and then when our chickens started fighting her barred rocks, said “oh, look, they’re playing!” No… no they aren’t. She also didn’t research AT ALL about chickens before she got them. Ugh, I hate people sometimes.

Anyways, here’s my tax. My favorite boy ever, Athens. He’s such a sweetie. He only attacks people if they don’t baby talk him. Like, I’ve told people that have watched our chickens when we go out of town to baby talk him, they think I’m joking, and then get attacked.
Although, Mom baby talks him and he attacks her on occasion. Maybe he just likes me, I dunno. He’s my favorite boy though.

He is one handsome fellow. Love those wattles!

He's a very handsome boy. Mr P in reverse! (black and white hahaha)

Next time she asks where honey comes from tell her its Bee Vomit... - which technically it is!

And with that I am going back to my bed - I have an evil migraine (maybe all that Bee vomit i have in my tea haha) and I am just coasting through the day.
I hope you are feeling better today.
