I came across this cattle panel chicken run on TikTok, and am interested in building something similar. I have built cattle panel hoop coops, but this type of lean-to is new to me. Has anyone tried this? Any structural issues?

Typically the wider the arch the taller it should be.I can't remember which calculator I used online sorry !Lean too's are cheaper to build

The height of a hoop house arch is typically determined by its width, with a common ratio being that the height should be about half the width for optimal structure and stability. This ensures that the arch can effectively support the covering and withstand environmental stresses like snow, ice and wind

Height meaning to the top of the arch, or to where the side walls start to curve in?

Yes the center is the tallest point ( top of the arch) The one in the photo isn't structurally sound(its wider than it is tall
I am familiar with standard hoop arches. This particular structure has one end anchored to the side of a barn.
I'm tearing my wood green house down so I can make room for a new chicken coop(I hope to make it out of cattle panels)

Here's a plan i found on Pinterest

I have also found clear corrugated panels that you could screw onto the plastic boughs instead of using that visquine plastic. That way, you wouldn't be replacing the cover over the boughs every 2 years, or however long that plastic lasts
