I love my dog, but he doesn’t provide me with food. He has provided protection for my birds but just as equally he has been the culprit.

I put my 3-day-old chicks outside and I guess it’s warm enough because they’re not all huddled together and they don’t have a heat lamp. But they will once the sun sets of course.

Here are two good ways to look at it:

1. You got the chickens and your paying for really expensive eggs.

2. You bought the chickens (the CHICKENS!) and they are giving you free eggs.
