Are your peafowl mating?

Hi, was wondering if your guys' peafowl have already started mating? I live in southern México and still nothing

We have been hearing charges but have not seen any actual mating.

They are all adults. Well 8 out of 10 are adults. 4 males and 4 females are adults.

I was raised in WA state. Spanish is My native language, i Also know a little English

I'm in Canada so still pretty cold here and not expecting eggs for months yet. Hasn't stopped the male from impressive dancing. Makes me laugh to watch the penhens try to avoid him. They have to put on their own moves when his fanned out tail is blocking the door to the inside.

One of my female peahens hasn’t started laying but all on her own; my male died recently so there’s no mating
