My peahens started laying almost three weeks ago. I have two peahens and they have 9 eggs between them so far. I have broody chicken hens sitting on 8 of the peafowl eggs with another broody hen in the wings waiting for a few more eggs to sit on. Happy happy! Lamont, Florida

No eggs from peahens so far but I'm in Eastern Ontario so none expected for awhile yet.

I use my broody Muscovy ducks for peacock eggs. So far that has been way more successful than leaving the eggs with the peahens.

Mine laid 4 eggs with 2-3 days gap between, so she must have started around April 5-10th, cannot exactly recall. She then stopped. I put the 4 eggs in the incubator and candled yesterday. All 4 not fertile, which is strange as I see them mating. Don't know why and I don't know when will she start laying again. This is her second year of egg laying, last year all eggs were not fertile as well.

I started getting some peahen eggs on Tuesday, the day I had decided to close the poll when I made this thread.
