what's a good light weight netting I can use for areal predator control? I have a very dense covering of trees, shrubs and bushes in their 1/8 acre open air run, except for the corner where the coop is(where they seem to like to roost the most). if I could put up an eight foot section to cover this area I'd feel so much more comfortable. but i need something lightwiegt and visible to hawks and owls. I don't want to build a structure to support it. rather a simple tent type, center pole netting, I think, would would work best...,any advice?

thank u!, i wasnt sure how determined a predator can be, and whit it might be able to rip through. i cant imagine having them fir a year or more - problem free- to have one snatched away while im watering my herbs.

I second the aviary netting. I got a 30' x 50' piece on Ebay (much cheaper than at a store) and I attached it with a staple gun from coop to trees to run so that it is pulled taunt. I have a center beam in the middle which I hang plants from. The netting is barely visible from a distance so it looks nice in my yard. As you get closer you can see it better. It seems very strong too. I live in rural West Tennessee and the hawks that live here are huge. I really believe it would be strong enough to hold off one of those guys.

Have no idea, but I thought I would tell you that I clicked on this because I thought it said , "picky netting" I was like what? Never mind, mind must be in the gutter
