Argh!!! It got me!!

I swore it wouldn't get me. I'd read about it, and rolled my eyes not believing it to be true. Figured I would be quite content with the little flock of 6 I have...but I have, only after several months of owning my little flock, succumbed to CHICKEN MATH.

Already have my order into Meyer Hatchery for some chicks to be shipped April 21. Some blue silkies, salmon faverolles, and a few olive eggers are going to be joining the flock.

I knew I should have had my husband built a bigger coop...

Nobody is immune to Chicken Math ... and you have ordered Silkies ... can you say "Broody"? ... Just going to have to let those girls hatch some eggs ... More chicks ...

X2! I started with 6... 4 1/2 months later, 12.. 1 month later 13.. 4 months later, 23.. (I lost 3 old chickens over these passing months) 6 months later, 22 (3 new chicks)
