ARGH! RODENTS!

So looks like it's gonna be a trail cam set up, putting one of the cats out there or me "going camping" in the barn. I found rodent poop in a feeder! HOW how how how how did that blankity blank get in???? Last time I found rodent sign in there I found that they were getting in by the gutter where both roofs come together, I've since put a ball of hardware clothe in that and plugged that itty bitty opening. This is gonna be some fun today trying to find their new entry. AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!

Periodically we get a mouse invasion. Traps only stop the gullible ones. Barriers seem to create a challenge of finding new ways to get in. I've gone the repellent route and spray with peppermint oil, which mice detest. It is fragrant and does take a bit of getting used to that your coop is minty fresh, though.
