I recently bought pine shavings so that I could already have supplies for when my eggs hatch, and trust me, I am ready for them too hatch

Will the aromatic oils present problems to the chickens??

It's the aromatic oils in cedar shavings, not pine, that can cause respiratory problems for your birds.

You're Welcome!

I remember, all too well, how nervous I was about getting our chicks back in May!

Yeah me too. The Silkies gain so much attention, and I know that it's the evil mind powers at work......

LOL...our Silkies have infiltrated our Australian Shepherd and Skip (doc_gonzo)...I'm the only one who's safe from them (but I've been infiltrated by our lone Silver Spangled Hamburg)...

Poor dog....he never had a chance

I think I am under the spell already too. I can hear them whispering to me.

Stephen....admire us.....glorify us.....BOW DOWN TO US!!!

I'm not joking
:| <--- Does that look like a joking face???

Hmmm, I do have one Silky egg in the bator, wonder if that's where the feeling of "being watched" is coming from?

yeah, I got the same feeling. They actually kept me from sleeping one night.

they are evil little buggers. I'm kinda protective over them though. I just hope that any scientists don't jump out of the closet and inject them with dye. ( inside joke; read Dinos_rock's post)
