This might be a bit early to tell, but I have four 5 week chicks that I would like to know the gender of.
Unfortunately we cannot keep any roosters as we live in an urban area, but I have arranged for a safe home to send any roosters after they start crowing. Sorry about the bad pics! They move around a lot so its always hard to get good pictures :)

One chick is a Buff Orpington:

The next is a Coronation Sussex:

The next is a Silver Laced Wyandotte:
(we were thinking this one might be a rooster as their feathers grew in later than the other chicks)

We are unsure of the breed of this chick. It was sold to us as a silver-laced Wyandotte. Anyone know what breed??

Thank you so much for all of your help :)

All look to be pullets so far! They are still a bit young so you might try posting more photos in a few weeks. Neither of the birds sold to you as silver-laced wyandottes look to be silver-laced wyandottes. Perhaps they are mixes.

The Buff Orp is the only right breed you listed.
The CS looks closer to a Lavender Orpington, the Wyandotte is the wrong color, and the final one is a mutt.

Thank you guys so much. Are you sure about the breeds? The people we bought them from seemed to have a pretty good setup, and I don't think they mixed breeds. I could be wrong though.

What age should I post more photos?

Yes, I'm sure.
That Wyandotte, if it's actually pure (which it's not), is a Blue Laced White, not a Silver Laced Wyandotte. It has feathers on its legs, so it cannot be purebred.
The final one is a mixed breed as well.
The Lavender Orpington is just a guess, since I cannot make out comb type or skin color. Better pics would definitely help. But whatever it is, it isn't a Coronation sussex.

And the final chick IS buff, but it has yellow skin, so I doubt it's an Orpington.

If you could get clear shots of their combs, their backs, and their legs, we can give you a pretty good guess of breeds/ crosses.

Thank you so much for your help! I'll try to send some better pics later in the day, I can't right now sorry.

I've been out into the chicken yard and taken lots of photos! I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me breed and gender! Thanks!

First one looks like a buff Orpingtons can’t really tell the leg color but should have pink/white skin.
Second and fourth one are Wyandotte mixes. Not quite sure where those feathered legs came from but Wyandottes do not have feathered legs. Perhaps there is a Marans or Cochin running around in the seller’s flock.
Third one looks to be a lavender colored bird. Perhaps an Orpington. Appearance and grey coloring of legs is consistent with this.
All appear to be female at this time but this can change, it is early still.😊
