Ingredients:
Plywood
Guesso
Mod Podge
Old, non-laminated literature. Like newsprint.
Brain
Pencil
Like, two paints

All you gots to do is cover your plywood with Acrylic Gesso until it's good and white.

Then sketch your figure on there. It helps to have a photo of the subject.

Paint figure until mildly frustrated.

Take out your frustration on newspaper by tearing it into large bits.

Brush ModPodge on those bits, and plant it onto your (dry) frustration Imeanpainting...

Rub and flatten for 20 seconds.

Peel off newspaper.

This was an easy cell phone case I made a couple years ago. I found a chicken pot pad at the dollar store, folded it in half and sewed 3 sides together, added a button that the pot pad loop could hook to.

If your cell phone is too large, you could use this for an eyeglass or sunglasses carrier.

Using things I had around the house, I decorated a lidded glass jar by mod podging chicken pictures from a magazine.

Here is a cup and rolling pin wall plaque I made. Got a wooden disk, did a white wash paint background and black paint for the edges. Found a rooster silhouette online, blew it up on a copier and outlined it on the disk, then painted it with the black paint. DH added a couple of cup hooks for the mugs and chicken rolling pin.
