I came across a killdeer that appeared to wounded just off my driveway.




As I got closer....it kept moving away from me. Finally it got up and ran away.
I was thinking that was really strange. It acted almost like a grouse, luring me away from a nest.

Guess what......it was. I found the nest in my drive way.

I have Nikon DX2 most of the Nikon AFS lenes. I used to do professional photography.
I have not picked up my camera much in the last 3 years.

I may have to take it up again.

I have done some....I don't have the 6000 to 20,000 dollars lenes that alot of the wildlife photography requires.
I never went anywhere without my camera so when the opportunity presented itself i tried to take full advantage.

I should take my camera out more....but 60 lbs of gear gets to be a lot to drag around.
