Art/Photography Club!!!

Meet Chloe 2 years old, she said "I pink" when I busted her with the lipstick. Notice the compact with mirror, and the lipstick still in her hand, she was loving the makeup thing, I guess she was thinking more is better, LOL. The other two photos she was just playing around, we take pictures like a game, and she loves it.

I haven't been able to post anything lately! Of course, looking at some of the recent posts, I can see that this thread hasn't been lacking artistic talent. Schmooborp, that drawing is fantastic! I can only imagine how much fun it was to do all those tiny details!

Well, I do have a couple things I've been wanting to post lately. Wednesday morning, we had some brilliant ice waiting for us when we went outside, so I took some photos. Oh, and I've painted a couple eggs recently. I'm commissioning them (it's my first time doing personalized eggs), so it's super exciting.

First, the ice photos! These haven't been color-corrected and the lighting hasn't been fixed. I kinda like to leave them alone because, for the most part, that was how it looked when I took the photos.

And here are a couple of painted eggs I've done.

I'm really proud of the painted eggs. I had to purchase new brushes so I could do all the tiny details and most everything I've done so far has been freehand. To get an idea of how small these eggs are and what kind of detail I have put on them, here is just a comparison shot of an egg and a cocktail toothpick.

Those little people on the egg are just under an inch tall, FYI. (Forgive me for getting braggy, haha! Not many people get to see my eggs and I get really excited about sharing pics. It's hard to find people who appreciate them for the work. Last time I tried selling some at the Farmer's Market, people wouldn't even pay the discounted price of $10 and it definitely made me a little sad.)
