Yeah, I just picked that up pretty recently. I use the posable wooden doll a lot for it.

Body plates look good. Generally there is chainmail to cover in the crotch area, and shield covers/decorations are generally smaller and more simplistic depending upon what era you are looking at ex. English, Scottish, Netherlands. There might be a crest to cover the center nails, but it could also be painted on there. The helm would have to cover the top of the head, since not dying has a lot to do with protecting the head. Do some research and tell us what you find.

The armor looks cool, the only thing I might alter about it is the spikes at the tops of the legs, they would dig into it's chest.
