I drew Iris. He looks weird with facial hair, but he also looks weird without it

I can't color or use detail like that, so if anyone knows how to do that
Just help me
I know anatomy though, I spend a long time making sure the body is right and I know what to look like.
Helps to want standard quality birds, and though he is an EE, I know what to look for.


Ok, so, he needs wattles. A lot of people forget them when drawing chickens. I don't know why! Just little wattles to lift the face.

Larger breast and thinner legs. He kind of looks a little like he is starving and one of those dong tao chickens with fat legs.
Toes are in good shape though.
Tail needs to be at a less extreme angle.


Kudos on the color though. I don't like color
