Artemis II Moon Rocket Thread

Many of you on this thread are young (I am not one of them), and may not remember other space missions, but this is truly epic.
I remember watching Apollo 11 land on the moon, outside staring up at the moon while the rest of my family watched it on TV. I remember watching Challenger explode at launch, and I remember Columbia disintegrating on reentry.
Artemis II is a moment in history we will share with our children and grandchildren. Thank you @notabitail for starting this thread!
I hope we will all watch at 8:07 tomorrow 🙂
I am also part of the Race to Space generation. All of this is indelibly etched in my memory. Watching Artemis II launch really tapped into my bipolar. Part of me was thrilled and excited to be heading back to the moon. Another part kept seeing the Challenger explode. I was in tears as Artemis got safely up and away, and I will be equally vulnerable following the touchdown tomorrow until our brothers and sister are safely delivered from their tiny capsule. God bless and protect them!

I was a few years too young for any of Apollo but I watched every shuttle launch, landing, and tragedy. I've loved space my whole life, so I totally feel you.
