Artichokes, do you eat your chokes with butter, mayonnaise, or something else? Me, I like mayonnaise with mine.

Wow, that's beautiful!I have seeds for Green Globe, Violet De Provence, and Purple of Romagna. Green Globe is what most people are familiar with but I'm really excited about growing and trying the purple varieties! If you allow them to bloom bees also go crazy for them.

Curiously, do the bees end up with purple pollen? If you allow them to bloom bees also go crazy for them.
@CluckNDoodle, where did you get your seeds?![]()
Thanks for the link. When will you be planting your seeds?I get seeds from all over the place, gardening and chickens are my two biggest hobbies so I have a massive collection of seeds, lol. Baker Creek Heirloom seeds is one of my favorites for finding unusual seeds, including both of these purple Artichokes. I bought the seeds last year and it appears that they no longer have the Purple of Romagna so I may need to grow that one further away so I can save the seeds without cross pollination!
