Artificial brooding question.

None of our hens brood, so we have taken to an incubator.

My question, will any of my ladies raise artificially hatched darlings, or will I have to be momma?

You'll have to be the momma. Unless the brooding instinct is there from setting on a clutch of eggs, the hens are more likely to view the young hatchlings as food.

Not ok. I mean hennies wanting to eat my babies. . I have no issue with being mom. We started out as parents to a flock of 20 babies, so, I can handle it.
