Artificial Light at Night

I have 9 coturnix quail all 5 or 6 weeks old. Now that spring has FINALLY arrived in Michigan I moved them all outside in the tractor I built. It has a covered coop with hay in case it gets cold and an outdoor run full of brush.
They seem to be doing really well but the last few times I've come home late and gone to check on them they are all just sitting outside in the open and not sleeping. I am in a dense suburb and there is a streetlight directly next to my backyard where the birds are. Does anybody know how sensitive quail are to this level of artificial light? I added a roof to the outdoor run to protect them from rain but of course the entire yard around them is still illuminated at night even though they cannot directly see the streetlight.

Ambient light may not effect them too much. After all there is light from the moon when it is up.
Quail roost on the ground, if you can 'train' them to use the coop to roost in, that would be a plus...and give them more protection from predators.
