After seeing another thread today that featured some nifty totes made from old feed bags, I wanted to see what other cool things the folks at BYC have made!

Would you share some photos of crafts you've made with feathers, feed bags, and such? Why are those crafts meaningful to you?

I don't have any pics, but i used the timber form an old chicken coop to make a lil' hut to sell eggs from out the front of out property. like a honesty box idea.
Ill see if i can get any pics.

I made some earrings and a dreamcatcher using feathers from our chickens. I've also used them tied with herbs to make decorations for wrapped gifts. I should use them for more really!

I make and sell horsehair jewelry. I've been making it now for about 10 years, and it's so much fun. I've had customers from all over the world, and it makes me very happy to be able to give a customer a permanent piece of a horse that they've lost.

Most of my work involves braiding the hair, but I also have started working with resin and making Pandora-style resin beads and other keepsakes with the hair inside.

Here are some examples of my work:

I also decorate antique curb and snaffle bits and add a bit of horsehair to those, as well!
